Last weekend I planted most of the garden. Bush beans, zuchinni, summer squash and cucumber seeds were planted. I filled in the zinnia and cosmo seeds that did not come in. I decided to plant the pitiful asparagus bed with flowers while leaving the asparagus and we will just see what happens next year.
I also planted all of the tomato and eggplant seedlings. It finally feels like summer is on its way!
I planted my last year's zinnia seeds in 6-packs in the house, and only one (out of 12) germinated! Outside, in the garden, I'm pulling volunteer zinnias out like weeds, because they are coming up in the middle of the veggies. Go figure! I've decided this will be a marigolds and cosmos year, probably no zinnias.
ReplyDeleteOh that's too bad! Why don't you just direct seed some zinnia's? Since we don't have indoor lights thats what I do. You don't get flowers as early but they still do well.
