It had been a few weeks since we lost tomatoes to the squirrels so I thought they might have moved onto greener pastures and were done terrorizing our garden. But I was wrong. This past week they have resumed their attack on the tomatoes. Below are just a few of the victims, unfortunately there were more.
You need a neighbor with a walnut tree! Our many squirrels bypass my garden and head straight for the walnuts.
ReplyDeleteI need a neighbor with a massive walnut tree! A squirrel just snatched a huge Black Krim tomato this morning which about threw me off the ledge.
ReplyDeleteYeah, A walnut tree, and a gun. LOL ;-) Good luck. This is a problem that is never ending.
ReplyDeleteHow upsetting! It looks like the squirrels only go after your ripening tomatoes.
ReplyDeleteAt least the wild brown rabbit in my area only seems to eat green vegetables. I did plant sunflowers outside the garden one year and the squirrels were all over them without bothering the garden.
