Over the past year I have developed a love affair with coleus. Sure it starts out small but soon it grows into an abundance of leafy color that does well in sun or shade. No deadheading flowers needed for this friend. This beauty holds its color all season from deep black/purples, burnt oranges, a spectrum of greens, white, and even pink.
In one of the local communities they have used coleus in lieu of flowers. Here you see three different colors of coleus flanking King Tut grass. Magnificent!
