I hope everyone had a safe and fun Halloween. We only had 9 trick or treaters, our neighborhood is hit or
miss year to year. But we enjoyed listening to spooky music, carving the pumpkin(even though we went with a super simple design) and getting excited each time the doorbell rang.
Did you know Pittsburgh is #12 of the top 20 places to trick-or-treat? Rating was in Wall Street Journal and had to do with walkability and treats. We gave regular size candy bars but only got about 40 kids. Our girls said there was one guy giving out dollar bills! The girls got lots of Doritos, chips, and plenty of full-size candy, and it was raining here!
That's 9 more trick-or-treaters than we had. We don't even stick around. We visit friends with our kids, and they go out in their neighborhood.
