A Year in Pictures

What a difference a year makes!  In the past year our garden has changed considerably.  It started as wasted space and has been transformed.  The difference between seasons can also be amazing when directly compared.
Back when the space was wasted.

 The trees removed.

 Installing raised beds

 Finally planting seeds and starts.
 Growing begins.

And then we end up back at the beginning.

  1. I love how you're using your space! To see the before and after shots really shows how much one can produce from a truly tiny space! Cheers!

  2. I did not know you put boxes in the front yard! How cool is that? They look so much better than the trees. I bet you get lots of compliments from the neighbors

  3. It is fun to compare the seasons, it's such a stark contrast. The pictures from Summer seem like a world away and so long ago.

Jody - It is actually our backyard. But we live on a corner so our backyard juts up to the neighbor's front yard. When you live on a corner your backyard is just as visible so it's almost like having 270 degrees of front yard. However you are right that it's so much better than the trees and because all the neighbors can see it we have had many people comment on it and slow down to watch the progress :)
