Katrina we used Olympic Premium Exterior paint in white, we picked it up at Lowes. It is a middle of the road exterior paint not wanting to go with el cheapo but also thinking it wasn't necessary to go with the top of the line. This paint supposedly has some sort of dirt repelling properties but we mainly chose it because it has the lowest VOCs which I thought was important since it was going to paint the beehive. We used it on the cinder blocks because it was what we had lying around left over from painting the hive. Hope this helps!
