First Harvest!

I have finally had my first harvest!  It isn't much and the radishes are small, but it's something.  I would have prefered to leave them in the ground to grow more but their shoulders were starting to poke out of the ground.  The choice was either to pick them or risk losing them to some other critter.

    And it is a nice colorful harvest. I think I like radishes for their looks as much as for their taste.

    Beautiful radishes! They should be a nice addition to a salad. I think it's a great first harvest.

    I was very excited about the purple one, this year I wanted to try an assortment of radishes!
